From a young age, I have been a concert junkie. I loved music and I spent hours listening to music. I had 2 music VHS tapes-the Janet Jackson Rhythm Nation and the Paula Abdul Straight Up VHS-and I would practice (rather unsuccessfully) the songs and the dance moves. My first ever concert was the Paula Abdul Forever Your Girl Tour. I think that was the name of it. Anyway, I love music and I picked this outfit for the music lover in all of us. It’s a great everyday look that can be prepped up with a jacket and the shirt tucked in or rocked out with the sleeves rolled up and tied in a knot. Plus these pinstriped linen pants have a cool high waistline and a straight leg that, with heels, make you look long and lean. Add great statement accessories like this woodsy necklace to complete your look. Take a look at these vintage pieces below and shop them by clicking the image. And let us know in the comments how you would style these pieces.
The Graphic Tee
Graphic tees are the new layering shirt. Pair it with a cute jacket or cardigan and have just a little of the print peeking out.
A Cool, Straight Leg Pant
I don’t have any problems wearing a ‘darker than white’ colored linen if the weather is still warm-even in the fall. It’s about having a great leg with a bold feature. Try a straight leg with a stripe or pattern for a rocker vibe.
